This is my first post using the Shape Shift Theme along with Thrive Theme Builder. It has been a bit of a chore getting it set up, but it's not too bad so far. This theme has a lot of options, and I am spending a lot of time learning what it does instead of being able to create content. Once I learn what this theme can do, I'll be ready to create a ton of useful and profitable content.

The goal of this site is to present opportunities to learn and to purchase training that will assist anyone who is trying to get the basics of their business up and running.

There is a lot of talk about using wordpress to create an awesome site, but there isn't much training that walks you through how to do it from start to finish. Instead, you will usually be told that there are already a ton of how-to videos on YouTube that show you what to do.

You can find a lot of free themes, but again there are so many choices and it's hard to decide the best options. A search will give you some lists of the top 10 or 20 free themes and a description of each theme. That can help.

One thing to keep in mind is that some of these free themes are actually "lite" versions. If you want to get the most out of the theme, you have to pay. Sometimes it is worth it, but you have to decide what you want to do.

The reason I chose the Thrive Themes membership is because they have a lot of really useful addons that come with it. In addition to a theme builder, where I can customize my site in seemingly countless ways, I get more.

There are a ton of videos that cover what you can do and a support forum. Be ready to be patient and work at learning how to use the software, because it can be frustrating at first. At least that was my experience. I am glad that I stuck with it. I am happy with the sites that I can create and the time that it saves me.

There's a lot more that goes into getting set up in an online business, but without the basic structure and tools in place, all of the other training and software won't do you much good. TBC...
