If you’re able to write an article from start to finish in an hour and you need a dozen articles, you have a lot of time invested. Even if you’re able to cut that in half and do it in thirty minutes, you still have to set aside that time to do it. And you have no way of knowing ahead of time if you’re going to get any traffic from the articles after you submit them.

Writing and submitting articles is a powerful marketing strategy, so don’t stop doing it.

Here’s something to think about. Other marketers are always looking for articles they can buy. And you can be the one who provides the articles.

Here’s the downside:
People don’t want to pay a lot for an article. They can get them all over the place for around $5. If you write 2 articles an hour, you’re going to make $10 and hour. If it takes you an hour to write an article, you only get $5 an hour. Not good.

No, I don’t suggest that you hire yourself out to write articles for $5 per article.

There’s a much better way…

Write a series of articles on a market that is in high demand. It could be a ClickBank product or any other affiliate product. It could be a series on digital cameras, video games, or treadmills. What you’re after is 5-10 articles that you can write for a market.

For this example, write 5 articles on exercise equipment. You’re going to be selling these articles for $1 each for a total of $5 for the package. If it takes you 5 hours to write these articles, you’ll get $5. But there’s more to it…

The idea is to sell these articles with private label rights, and to sell several of these packages. To make it more attractive to potential customers, limit the quantity. In this example, promise to only sell 50 copies of these article sets.

You’re selling 50 sets of 5 articles for $5 each, for a total of $250. Not bad for 5 hours of work. Don’t stop there. Once you get your first package of articles written, move on to another set of articles. You can build this as big as you want.

The demand for content is huge, and you’ll never run out of topics to write about. Once you have a few sales, ask your customers what other niches they are interested in. That makes your job easy, and if you write quality articles, the word will get out and you’ll be on your way to making a lot of money selling your articles.

The point to remember is that these free sites have policies that you have to follow if you want to keep your account. In the case of wordpress.com, it appears that they aren’t going to tolerate people using this free as a platform to sell stuff. You can use the site to get traffic to your money pages, but you have to be very careful.

To protect yourself, before you spend a lot of time creating content and posting to any free site, carefully read all of their terms of service to see what they allow and what they won’t allow. And do a search on related forums to see if you can find tips on using these sites.

If you host your blogs on your own hosting account, you won’t have this problem. You can promote to your heart’s content and not have to worry about your sites being shut down. Of course you will have to spend a couple of bucks on hosting, but you won’t be taking a chance that the time you put into your sites will be wasted.

These sites are worth using, and they can get you good backlinks to your money site. Just make sure that you follow their rules so you can get the full benefit of what they offer.

Wordpress.com is a site where you can create a blog for free, and they have rules you have to follow. A wordpress blog is the blog software that you host on your own domain and hosting account. You do have to abide by the terms of service of your hosting provider, but you have a lot more flexiblility if you host a blog on your own site.

Step 4: Create Your Sales Letter
This is where you enter the content for your web pages. It can be a sales letter, an article, or an opt-in page. This is the step where you set up your pages to get your visitors to do what you want them to do – buy something, fill out a survey, or subscribe to your list.

Step 5: Set Up Your Payment Systems
Decide on how you are going to accept payments. This isn’t necessary if you’re an affiliate marketer, but if you decide to sell your own products you need a way to get paid. There are 2 ways easily do this – ClickBank or PayPal. Once you decide on a way to accept payment, you need to get the code you need for the links to the payment page and payment buttons on your own web pages.

Step 6: Launch Your Site
Here is where you upload your site to your hosting account. There free FTP software that you can use to upload your site, or you can use the file manager on your hosting account. Once you upload your site, look at every page, click on every link, and try out every form. Make sure that your graphics and tables are showing up correctly. If you find a problem, now is the time to fix it.

Keyword research is one of the most often recommended ways of getting ideas. If you’re writing any kind of “how to” articles, the best keywords to target are the ones that ask a question. You probably already know search using phrases that will get you ideas for what people are asking questions about:

Where can I

This will give you a lot of ideas of what questions are being asked right now. If you’re interested in the questions that are being searched for in a given niche, you’ll have to sift through the results to find the ones that are related.

It sounds good to think about making thousands of dollars a month while you’re at the beach. But I think what holds a lot of people back is that they want to make thousands of dollars a month, but since they have never done it, it’s hard to have the confidence to make it happen.

If you’ve never made your first dollar online, it’s hard to believe that you can make thousands a month.

What makes it a lot easier is to break Internet Marketing down into smaller chunks. Coming up with a goal for the month is a good starting point. Once you do that, break it down into daily goals.

To make it really simple, let’s look at it this way. Let’s say you want to earn $3,000 a month. You would have to make an average of $100 a day to get to your goal of $3,000 a month. Your target is $100 a day.

Next you need to take a look at what you’re going to do to generate $100 today. If you’re selling products, how many sales will you have to make to meet your goal? Remember to take into account any advertising costs. If you use adwords, and you make $100 in sales, take a look at how much you had to pay for ads. If you had to pay $50 for ads to get $100 in sales, you’ve really made $50, half of your goal. So you would have to generate $200 in sales to end up with $100 in profit.

It’s also important to find products to promote that are sellng well and are in high demand. If you find that a product that you’re selling isn’t getting a lot of sales, move on to another product.

The key to reaching your goals is to decide on a plan, get started, and be willing to change your approach if what you’re doing is not getting results. And don’t concentrate all of your efforts on 1 or 2 products. You’ll never know for sure whether or not a product you’re promoting is going to do well, so you have to try out a lot of them to find the winners. The e-mail in question told me about how I could get some sort of auto income system for only seven dollars. He went on to say that he couldn’t believe that this information was being given away for only seven dollars. He went on to explain how the author of this information was someone who had come to respect, and how I had better click on the link and get to that page before he decided to pull the offer for all of this information for only seven dollars.

Since I respect this marketer so much, I naturally clicked on the link to see what this was all about. The link led to a sales page, which is what I expected. I started reading the sales letter, and it was well written and intriguing. Apparently, I was going to learn the secrets of how I could set up systems that would generate thousands of dollars all month. All I had to do was learn his methods, set everything up once, and sit back and wait for the commission checks start coming in.

For seven dollars, I was thinking it would be worth it to find out what this was all about. What I found instead was that the information that was being offered was not available for seven dollars. Seven dollars got me a seven day trial and a membership site. After the seven days, I would have to pay $47 a month for the next six months to get the whole auto income course.

What bothered me about the e-mail was that it said that I could get this information for seven dollars. From a so-called Internet guru. I get these types of misleading e-mail messages all the time, back expected better of this guy. I don’t understand why people think that being deceptive is a good way to keep subscribers.

I don’t have a bad opinion of the guy who site I went to. As I read his sales letter, he never indicated that I can get this whole course for seven dollars. He didn’t do anything deceptive, and the information he presents looks pretty good. I may think about joining his membership site.

But I’m not going to stay on the guru marketers mailing list, because it’s obvious that he’s not really a guru, but a creep. There are too many people out there using any way they can to get people to click on links. For me, do it once, and you’ll never do it again. That’s my rant for today, and I feel a whole lot better.

If you’re going to start getting links to your site, you need to have a plan. What you often see is a link in a resource box or on a site that simply says “Click Here”. That’s not a very effective way of getting links to your site. Neither is using your web site address as a link – www.yoursite.com.

The idea is to use the keywords you want your pages to rank for in your text links. If your site is about the Nintendo Wii, then you would be better off using that keyword phrase as your link. If you have pages related to the Nintendo Wii on your site, use the keywords for these pages when you link to them. Using keywords in your links will help your site to get better rankings for the keyword you’re going after.

Keep in mind that you will be better off if you select more than one keyword or key phrase to use in the links for each page you’re linking to. This gives you the opportunity to potentially get ranked well for more than one keyword phrase. I’m not suggesting that you try to get ranked for several different keywords for each page. Instead, use your main keywords and variations that are closely related.

For your Nintendo Wii site, you would use “Nintendo Wii”, and you could also add variations such as:
Nintendo Wii Games
Wii Games
Wii Console
Wii Video Game Console
Wii Fit
Nintendo Wii Console

You’re targeting the Nintendo Wii along with keyword phrases that are related to the Nintendo Wii. You wouldn’t waste your time targeting more generic terms such as:
Video Games
Video Game Consoles
Cheap Video Games
Discount Video Game Consoles

To wrap this up, remember that your link has more value to your rankings if it is a text link that includes the keywords that you are targeting for your site. Avoid using the web address or “Click Here” as a link. It’s still a link, but has less value. And it doesn’t take any more time to use links that will help your rankings.

These products are enticing because most of the time they are complete products and come with a sales page, download page, and all of the graphics you need, including any product covers. All you have to do is edit the pages with your order links and upload them to your site. You can’t alter the product in any way, but it is a complete product ready for sale.

There are a few things to keep in mind before you decide to use these products.

1. How long has the product been available? If it has been around for awhile, the information may be out of date. This is especially true in the Internet Marketing niche. If that’s not the case, you need to see how many competitors there are. Do a search for the product name and see if there are a lot of sites promoting it. If the market is saturated, move on to another product.

2. How much can you expect your customers to pay for this product? Some Master Resale Rights products have a recommended selling price. Don’t rely on that to make your decision of whether or not to purchase it. Do a search for the product name and visit some of the sites that come up. I have found that a product that has a recommended selling price of $27 is being sold for less than $10 all over the Internet. So your profit potential is really limited, and you’re really limited on how much you can afford to pay for advertising and still make a profit.

3. How many copies of the product have been sold? If you go to a site that sells master resales rights products, you’re probably never going to know how many people are selling a product. The better master resales rights products are the ones that limit how many people have access to resell the product. You will usually pay more for a product that has a limit on the number of copies sold, but you have a better chance of making sales.

4. Competition. The one main drawback to master resale rights products is that you are selling something that a lot of other people are selling, Everyone gets the same product to sell, the same sales page, the same download page, and the same graphics. It’s hard to stand out from your competition.

Products that come with master resale rights are not always a good choice. You’ll probably make more money promoting affiliate products instead. In a lot of ways, promoting both types of products is really similar. I personally stay away from these products.
