We all know by now that there is a lot of money to be made by having a list. A list is one of the most valuable assets you can have in your business.

If you’re building a list, you know that it can take a lot of time to continually add subscribers to your list. You have to use free or paid ways to get traffic to your opt-in page and get them to enter their info. Then you have to do everything in your power to make sure that they will stay subscribed to your list for a very long time.

Since you have a list to make money, along with great content, tips, tricks, strategies, and resources, you’re going to be including links to products that you’re promoting.

And the wrong product can cause you to lose a lot of subscribers in a hurry…

Over time, you want your subscribers to like and trust you. If you make a recommendation for a product that they aren’t happy with, you’re in trouble.

I’ve experienced this myself several times in the last few months. This is from people who I trusted and had decided to buy from based on their recommendations. Then they offered a product that was really bad, and from then on, I never trusted them again.

You can’t please everybody, and not everybody will be satisfied with every product that you offer. But there are ways to minimize the risk of offering a bad product.

The first thing is to try out the product for yourself. If possible, buy the product to make sure that it would be valuable to your list.

If you don’t have the funds to purchase the product, do a search for reviews of the product and find forums where this product is mentioned. If there are a lot of complaints, don’t offer the product to your list.

Another thing I have seen recently was a brand new product that was being promoted heavily, and then started getting a lot of complaints. I noticed this on the Warrior Forum a couple of times in the past month. It can be a good idea to get in on a product launch, but there is always the risk that, because the product is brand new and hasn’t been evaluated, that it won’t meet customers expectations.

It’s important to keep your subscribers as happy as you can, and taking a little time to make sure that you are offering quality products will pay off for you over and over again.
