Remember to take into account any advertising costs. If you use adwords, and you make $100 in sales, take a look at how much you had to pay for ads. If you had to pay $50 for ads to get $100 in sales, you’ve really made $50, half of your goal. So you would have to generate $200 in sales to end up with $100 in profit.

It’s also important to find products to promote that are sellng well and are in high demand. If you find that a product that you’re selling isn’t getting a lot of sales, move on to another product.

The key to reaching your goals is to decide on a plan, get started, and be willing to change your approach if what you’re doing is not getting results. And don’t concentrate all of your efforts on 1 or 2 products. You’ll never know for sure whether or not a product you’re promoting is going to do well, so you have to try out a lot of them to find the winners.
