Creating A Web Site In 6 Easy Steps

When it comes to creating a web site, it can seem like a big job. Before you get discouraged and put off learning how to create your own web pages, let me give you an easier way to look at it. When you do anything, it’s a lot easier if you break it down into steps. Do all of the steps, one at a time, and pretty soon you’ll have the entire process done, no matter what it is.
Here are 6 steps to creating any web page you need for your site. You don’t have to do any of them in this order. The important thing is to not get stuck by thinking that there is too much to learn before you can get started. Here are the steps…
Step 1: Create Your Header Graphic
Most web sites have a header graphic. While it isn’t necessary, it can add a look of professionalism to your site. You can purchase them online or create them yourself. Step 2: Add Special Effects To Your Header Graphic
This can be as simple as adding your picture, a picture of your product, adding drop shadows to the text, to adding animation. Not necessary, but it is worth looking into.
Step 3: Set Up Your Web Page
You can use free software to create and edit your web pages by using Kompozer. Select a layout for your web page, things such as tables, forms, graphics, and testimonial boxes. Or you can use templates. There are both free and paid templates available for you to use. Often these templates come with graphics included.
Step 4: Create Your Sales Letter
This is where you enter the content for your web pages. It can be a sales letter, an article, or an opt-in page. This is the step where you set up your pages to get your visitors to do what you want them to do – buy something, fill out a survey, or subscribe to your list.
Step 5: Set Up Your Payment Systems
Decide on how you are going to accept payments. This isn’t necessary if you’re an affiliate marketer, but if you decide to sell your own products you need a way to get paid. There are 2 ways easily do this – ClickBank or PayPal. Once you decide on a way to accept payment, you need to get the code you need for the links to the payment page and payment buttons on your own web pages.
Step 6: Launch Your Site
Here is where you upload your site to your hosting account. There free FTP software that you can use to upload your site, or you can use the file manager on your hosting account. Once you upload your site, look at every page, click on every link, and try out every form. Make sure that your graphics and tables are showing up correctly. If you find a problem, now is the time to fix it.

Affiliate Marketers Secret Weapon For WordPress Blogs

One of the big problems with affiliate marketing is getting credit for the sale. There are ways to cloak your link so that it’s more difficult to tell that it IS an affiliate link. The problem is that if someone wants to bypass your link, it’s almost impossible to stop them.
Another problem is that even if someone clicks on your affiliate link and gets to the sales page, if they don’t purchase right then, you won’t get credit for the sale if they decide to buy later unless they come back and click on your link. Another Free Way To Get Ideas For Your Articles

Coming up with content for your business can be a real pain in the neck. Some days it’s almost impossible to get started writing anything. Even if you decide to pay others to write your content, you should give your writers ideas of what they should be writing.
Keyword research is one of the most often recommended ways of getting ideas. If you’re writing any kind of “how to” articles, the best keywords to target are the ones that ask a question. You probably already know search using phrases that will get you ideas for what people are asking questions about:

Where can I
This will give you a lot of ideas of what questions are being asked right now. If you’re interested in the questions that are being searched for in a given niche, you’ll have to sift through the results to find the ones that are related.
I just found about a free tool from WordTracker that you can use that will give you up to 100 of the questions that searchers are asking based on a keyword. I entered “digital cameras” and came up with 100 results. Here are a few of them:

This is a great time saver, because you’ll have a ton of ideas to write about. To get more information for any of the keyword phrases, enter it into a search engine, and visit the sites that come up to do your research and take notes for your article.

How To Believe You Can Achieve Your Income Goals

If you’ve been online for awhile, you have seen a lot of products out there that promise to show you how to quit your job and make a lot of money in your own online business. The dream of working for yourself from home is very appealing. One thing that a lot of us miss is what we need to do to make enough money to work from home.
It sounds good to think about making thousands of dollars a month while you’re at the beach. But I think what holds a lot of people back is that they want to make thousands of dollars a month, but since they have never done it, it’s hard to have the confidence to make it happen.
If you’ve never made your first dollar online, it’s hard to believe that you can make thousands a month.
What makes it a lot easier is to break Internet Marketing down into smaller chunks. Coming up with a goal for the month is a good starting point. Once you do that, break it down into daily goals.
To make it really simple, let’s look at it this way. Let’s say you want to earn $3,000 a month. You would have to make an average of $100 a day to get to your goal of $3,000 a month. Your target is $100 a day.
Next you need to take a look at what you’re going to do to generate $100 today. If you’re selling products, how many sales will you have to make to meet your goal? Remember to take into account any advertising costs. If you use adwords, and you make $100 in sales, take a look at how much you had to pay for ads. If you had to pay $50 for ads to get $100 in sales, you’ve really made $50, half of your goal. So you would have to generate $200 in sales to end up with $100 in profit.
It’s also important to find products to promote that are sellng well and are in high demand. If you find that a product that you’re selling isn’t getting a lot of sales, move on to another product.
The key to reaching your goals is to decide on a plan, get started, and be willing to change your approach if what you’re doing is not getting results. And don’t concentrate all of your efforts on 1 or 2 products. You’ll never know for sure whether or not a product you’re promoting is going to do well, so you have to try out a lot of them to find the winners. Break down your goals into daily targets, and execute your plan.

Why Paying Affiliates 100 Percent Commissions Can Be A Good Idea

There are people our there that are actually willing to pay their affiliates all of the money for each and every sale. Seems a little strange when you think about it. What business can make any money if they pay their affiliates all of the sale price? Of course these guys and gals aren’t selling all of their products this way, but why are they doing it in the first place?
Good question, and there is a really good answer. First, it gets the attention of potential affiliates, and gets more affiliates on board. That means more exposure for the product. This is really a good way to get affiliates, especially if you’re a new guy or gal on the block. By offering 100 percent commissions, you get other marketers selling for you.
The next question is why anyone would sell a product and make absolutely no money from selling it. Simple. Once someone buys, they are going to be on the product sellers list. If they are happy with the product that they just purchased, it gives the product owner the opportunity to offer other products on the back end. In other words, repeat sales.
This is a technique that you should pay attention to if you’re ready to roll out your first product. You don’t have any testimonials or a track record, so it’s more difficult to get people to trust you and make a purchase. You’re going to have to drive all of the traffic yourself, either paid ads or free methods that can eat a lot of time.
It’s a lot easier if you have an army of affiliates promoting the product for you. They are spending the time and money getting traffic to your site. Make sure that you another product ready that you can offer your new customers. Now that you have them on your list, offer the second product. With the second product, you keep all of the profits, and you have the opportunity to make multiple sales to these customers over time.
Of course, once you get established, you won’t be giving such a high commission rate. But when you’re getting started, this is a very effective way of getting affiliates and customers.

Getting More Subscribers With Your Bonus Offer

Most of the time when someone wants to get you to sign up for their list, they offer a freebie that you get after you subscribe. If you want to compete, you’re going to have to do the same thing. There is more than one way to do this, and that’s what I’m going to cover right now.
When you ask someone to enter information to get something, you have to motivate them to enter the desired information. The more information you ask for, the less likely it is that someone will subscribe. If you ask for name, email address, phone number, and postal address, you will find that you won’t get as many people willing to subscribe. The less information you ask for, the easier it is to get them onto your list.
That’s why most of the time all you’re asked for is name and email address. Once in a while you will come across a subscription box that only asks for an email address. And rarely you can get the free offer without having to give up any information at all.
This is something that you can test. The usual way of giving away your freebie is to offer it AFTER someone subscribes to your list. That’s the cost of getting the information. There are people who are willing to sign up right away, and there are other people who are reluctant to sign up for another list. Let’s face it, there are a lot of list owners who do nothing but send out promotion after promotion. I know you won’t do that, but potential subscribers don’t.
That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be requiring a name and email address before someone gets your bonus. It does mean that you need to be aware of the resistance that may be in the mind of some of your potential subscribers.
You can do things a little differently. You can offer your free bonus without any strings at all. No name and email address. Let anyone who wants it download it, and put info in your ebook that it can be given away freely. Why would you do this?
Because you are demonstrating the value that you’re delivering without someone signing up for your list. The key is to put an offer to subscribe to your list and a link to your optin form. You may not get as many subscribers this way, but the subscribers you do get are more targeted. And since you are allowing everyone to give it away, you could get more exposure for your offer than you could by yourself.
Another way to give away your bonus and still encourage them to subscribe is to give away your bonus and deliver great content. Then, let them know that you have more bonuses available for them absolutely free. All they have to do is subscribe to your list and they will get access to more of your great free content. A Simple Way To Keep Subscribers On Your List

Getting subscribers should be your number one priority, but it’s getting harder to get people to give up their name and email address. Offering a freebie of some sort is a good way to get people to sign up for your list. A potential drawback to offering a freebie is that people will sign up just to get the free stuff. These people may unsubscribe immediately, use an email address they never use, or never read your email messages.
There’s not much you can do about people who only want the free stuff and don’t have any intention of reading your messages. For the rest of your list, you can do a simple thing to make it more likely that they will continue to open and read your messages:
Let them know that in addition to the freebie that they received when they subscribed that there is more free content coming their way. You could give away a report or video every month or so. The idea is to give away valuable content on a regular basis.
This does a couple of things. First, assuming that the free content you offer is good, ;your subscribers will look forward to the next freebie that you offer, and will continue to open your messages to make sure they don’t miss out.
Second, they will be more likely to buy from you. The idea here is from the work done by Robert Cialdini in his book on Influence. In that book he notes that when someone is given something, they are likely to want to give something back. It’s human nature at work. You give them valuable free stuff, and they will be more likely to trust what you recommend to them.
A way to make this work is to offer a multi-part training on a topic that is delivered over time. That way they have to say subscribed to get all of the content. Another way that I have seen work really well is to have a password protected area on your site that only subscribers have access to. Here you can add free reports, videos, and other content on a weekly or monthly basis.
Offering freebies on a regular basis is an easy way to keep your subscribers interested enough in your messages that they will actually open and read your emails. And that’s what having a list and profiting from it is all about.
