Have you ever wanted to start a newsletter, but didn’t do it because you hate to write? Or maybe you put it off because you thought that it was hard to come up with content? Maybe you avoided it because you were afraid that you would have a lot of spelling mistakes and you would look foolish?

What I would suggest is doing audio newsletters, or podcasts. Instead of writing and formatting your messages, you could spend a few minutes a couple of times a week and record what you would have written. Think about this: you don’t have to worry about spelling mistakes or formatting issues. And you don’t have to type. All you have to do is speak into a microphone like you would talk to a friend about your subject. Do this for a few minutes – it doesn’t have to be very long at all – and you’ll have your content ready in no time.

There is audio software that you can use that is absolutely free called Audacity. It’s all you need to get started. There are no ads, you don’t have to sign up for a list, and it’s free open source software that you can use right now. So there is no excuse to not try it out if you hate to write and still want a list of subscribers.

There are some benefits you can get from posting audios on your site. All you have to do is send a short email to your subscribers with a link to the page on your site that has the audio posted. On that page, you can include ads for products you are promoting and/or Adsense ads. You can put up a review of affiliate products with a link to the merchant’s site. You could also have links to previous audio posts you have available.

You could even do your reviews with audio posts. On the page you send your subscribers to for your newsletter content, you could have an audio review. Put a title and a brief description of what the audio is about, put a link to the product, and you’re all set.

Even if you have a newsletter that you send out and a list of subscribers, it’s a good idea to add an audio for your subscribers once in a while. It’s a good way to keep them interested. And it also gets them to your site so they can see your product offers and links to other areas of your site that they may be interested in – article pages, video pages, product pages, review pages – that they may not otherwise be aware of.

A list of your own subscribers can be an asset to your business and bring you more profits, and you CAN build a list even if you hate to write. Spend a few minutes a couple of times a week recording an informative message for your subscribers, upload it to your site, and send them to your site. You may be amazed at how easy it is.
