The way I see it, the best products to promote as an affiliate marketer are the ones that pay over and over again. Whether it’s a consumable product such as vitamins and supplements or a monthly membership program, I like getting paid repeatedly for making the sale one time.

When you sell a product, it’s true that you get a commission, but that’s the end of it. You have to go out and constantly get new people to the merchant’s site so you can get paid. Refer someone to a site that’s selling a monthly membership or consumable, repeat order product, and you’ll get paid for as long as your referral keeps buying.

There are two types of affiliate programs that pay over and over. One is an affiliate program that pays lifetime commissions. Not only do you get paid for the first purchase, but you get a commission on every purchase your referral makes in the future. The other is an affiliate program that pays residual fees for monthly membership sites or services. Things like web hosting, auto-responders, or membership sites like List and Traffic.

This brings up the question of how to find these products. You can search the affiliate sites such as clickbank.com or cj.com. Use a search engine to find more results if you need to.
