If the idea of writing your own articles strikes fear in your heart, relax and read on!!!

Writing articles for your web site or your newsletter is nothing like what you used to do in school. When I was in school, we had to write in a way that would make the teacher happy and get us a good grade.

Now, you don’t have to have a degree in journalism, english or literature. You just have to have something to say. There are no hard and fast rules, and you won’t be graded.

This tip isn’t about copywriting. That is a seperate subject,band very different from what I am talking about. I’m talking about writing articles for your subscribers, to put on your web site, or to submit to article directories.

What I am talking about is communicating with your subscribers and prospects in a way that is informative, fun, and unique. It’s not about using big words and proper grammar (you should still use the spell check function before you send out your article!!!). It’s about talking to them like you talk to your friends and family.

The simple and easy tip that I am about to reveal is nothing new, and it isn’t something I came up with. It is a technique that I heard about in a few different places, and once I tried it, I was hooked.

The secret is this:
Write as if you are talking to a friend. In other words, imagine you are sitting with a friend at the kitchen table, over a cup of coffee, tea, your favorite refreshment…
